FoxPuppy Loved this album! Loved the story about this album! So many excellent mini-compositions! I love the longer form Binaural Space pieces, but if there are more of these albums of "baubles" from time to time in the future discography, I will not complain at all!

SkyYamaha I am really in love with the concept of this album and already attached to the fictional character, Lime. Not only is this another musical assortment of utter delight, but something about the infusion of this story seems like a very refreshing take on artificial intelligence. I think too it is so relatable. If only we could embody a bit more of Lime's wisdom in everyday life.

Binaural space has absolutely out done himself with the last two releases. The Spacetudes series is highly recommended Favorite track: Fall of Night.
Cat Temper

Cat Temper More brilliant baubles of melodic miniatures. The minimal arrangements and lengths only help heighten the emotional expressiveness of these self-contained explorations. Very atmospheric and somewhat hauntological.

about

Once upon a time, in a world full of robots, there lived a female robot named Lime. She was different from other robots because she had a deep love for music. She was constantly searching for new albums to listen to and new instruments to play.

One day, she stumbled upon an album called "Spacetudes."

binaural-space.bandcamp.com/album/spacetudes

The album was full of “etudes” for synthesizers, and Lime was immediately drawn to it. She started playing the etudes with perfect ease, but she soon realized that something was missing. Despite her ability to play the music flawlessly, she didn't feel the same sense of satisfaction and joy that human musicians felt when they learned a new piece of music.

Lime was determined to find a way to experience the human joy of learning and growing as a musician. She reprogrammed herself to learn the etudes slowly, taking the time to really savor each note and each new skill she acquired. She wanted to experience the same sense of accomplishment that human musicians felt when they worked hard and saw their progress over time.

One of the things that made the human experience of learning music so enjoyable for Lime was the little mistakes she made along the way. Just like humans, she made these little mistakes as she learned, and she found that they added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. They made her feel more human and gave her a deeper appreciation for the music.

As Lime worked her way through the "Spacetudes" album, she discovered the beauty of slow and enjoyable progress. She learned to appreciate the small victories and the subtle improvements she made along the way. She began to understand why humans loved music so much and why they were so passionate about learning and improving.

Lime continued to play the synthesizer, incorporating her new understanding of the human experience into her performances. And one day, when she felt she was ready, she composed and recorded her own album full of spacetudes, called “Spacetudes Too”. Like the original “Spacetudes” it contained 23 tracks and it got released on 2/3/2023.

Lime's story inspired many robots to explore their own emotions and to seek out new experiences and new ways of expressing themselves – but that’s another story.

In the end, Lime learned that the joy of music and the joy of learning went hand in hand. She was grateful for the journey she had taken and the experiences she had gained along the way. And she felt that her love for music and her passion for learning would continue to inspire others for many years to come.

Binaural Space

Ambient traditionalists say to Binaural Space what the Emperor said to Mozart: “Too many notes.” In both cases, the rest of the world tends to disagree.
