Tipentap Jellyfish Journey, the album by Uncle Fido released a year ago on November 3, 2022, finally on tape!

C17 Ocean Blue Cassette with Jellyfish White handwriting in an all-clear case, signed and dedicated by Binaural Space (whose side project Uncle Fido is).

Each copy was real-time recorded directly from the analog master played on a fabled Marantz deck to a warm and beloved old Nakamichi deck. Every single copy is unique and has desired little artefacts like warble, flutter or wow, making your cassette a hearty lo-fi original.

Tip and Tap were arguing one day. Tip said dinosaurs are better than lions because they are older and bigger. Tap claimed lions would kick dinosaurs’ asses because they are faster and stronger. So they asked Uncle Fido to arbitrate.

Uncle listened to them carefully, considered both sides and said: “You know who’s even more badass than lions or dinosaurs? Jellyfish.”

Tip and Tap burst out laughing because they thought Fido was joking.

“You want us to believe a stupid fish is better than a dinosaur?” Tip asked. “Or a lion?” Tap added quickly.

“Jellyfish are not fish,” Uncle Fido replied. “They are made of 95 percent water, they can dive down to the deep sea where lions wouldn’t get them, some of them sting even after they’re dead and they are older than dinosaurs.”

“Older than dinosaurs?” doubted Tip, the family’s biggest dinosaur fan.

“Yes. They’ve been around for over a half of a billion years.”

The puppies were speechless.

In a while Tap totally forgot he’s a lion fan and asked: “Can we go see them, uncle?”

And so in a couple of months they carried out an adventurous journey to the sea.

They snorkled. They glimpsed seahorses. They met scuba divers, they dove with them and they finally swam with a bloom of jellyfish. Then they watched some shooting stars from the boat and they found out they totally, deeply and forever love the sea.
