Since it came out, Glitchmas is on heavy rotation in our household. I really love all the holiday-albums on BS, but Glitchmas has this extra extra extra dose of festiveness and became an instant holiday-favorite for me.

Carols both weirdly alien and somehow universal at heart. The accompanying story is great and makes these songs celestially cinematic. Enjoy the splendor of the season while feeling a part of something much larger than ourselves.
In the midst of the Intergalactic Wars, where battles raged between distant civilizations, a lone spacecraft named Celestial Harmony found itself floating in the cosmic expanse. On board, Captain Alara, a visionary from the planet Arcadia, devised an unconventional plan to spread a message of peace during this chaotic time.
It was a chilly Christmas Eve, and as the stars shimmered outside the spaceship's windows, Captain Alara initiated a transmission like no other. Instead of sending tactical data or battle commands, the ship's communication systems were filled with the timeless melodies of Christmas carols. Recorded choirs echoed through the vastness of space, singing songs of joy and unity.
The intention was clear – a plea for a ceasefire, a call for all species engaged in conflict to pause and embrace the spirit of Christmas, if only for a day. The cosmic waves carried Alara's festive recordings far and wide, reaching distant galaxies and unknown civilizations through the complexities of wormholes and the cosmic symphony of black holes.
As the celestial broadcast traveled across the universe, it encountered the sensors of an alien species from a faraway civilization. Curiosity piqued, they tuned in to the snippets of musical transmissions reaching their realm. Perplexed yet intrigued, they recognized a pattern in the melodic signals.
Determined to decipher the hidden message, the aliens diligently pieced together the fragments of the transmissions. What emerged from their efforts was an unexpected and harmonious creation – what we now know as this album, "Glitchmas." Each track was a blend of melodies, interstellar echoes, and snippets of Captain Alara's old recordings of Christmas carols.
The album became a sensation in the far reaches of the galaxy, spreading joy and intrigue among the alien civilizations. Some interpreted it as a profound cosmic message, while others reveled in the newfound musical pleasure. Glitchmas became a symbol of unity, transcending the boundaries of war and bringing together beings from different corners of the universe and of countless religions.
Unknown to Captain Alara, her simple act of transmitting Christmas carols had sparked an unintended cultural exchange, forging connections and inspiring a momentary respite in the ongoing conflicts. Celestial Harmony continued its journey through the cosmos, a beacon of hope and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, the universal language of music could create unexpected bonds of peace and understanding.
Ambient traditionalists say to Binaural Space what the Emperor said to Mozart: “Too many notes.” In both cases, the rest of the world tends to disagree.
Great album that doesn't take itself too seriously but stands the test of multiple listens anyway (just yesterday I enjoyed a 2-hour drive accompanied only with the 4 pre-released tracks tremendously) Binaural Space
Fun, multi-genre album full with motley ideas in the best sense of the word, with that typical melodic and harmonic magic only ACY can provide. Currently my fav ACY album – and that's something! Binaural Space
Powerful and yet intimate, deep and yet full of light, haunting but optimistic. This EP has a special atmosphere thanks to the brilliantly selected timbres and sounds... and the vocal. Great name, too Binaural Space
Landing on the more chill/ambient end of the ACY spectrum, this EP of tracks, some hauntingly beautiful, some chillingly menacing, is a love letter to some of the many influences ACY wears upon his sleeves. FoxPuppy
