Cat Temper
The album gently approaches with warm a friendly melody. With your guard down it's easy to get caught up in the energetic elation of bubbly sounds. Prolonged pleasant chords embrace you over the pitter-patter of staccato synths.
One sunny morning, as Tip and Tap scampered around the garden, chasing butterflies and sniffing flowers, they heard a cheerful voice drifting from inside the house. It was a radio announcer, chirping excitedly about the day's festivities.
"Did you hear that, Tap?" Tip barked with joy. "On April 10 it is National Hug Your Dog Day!"
Tap wagged his tail in agreement. "That's today – let's make it the best day ever, Tip!"
With that, the two pups dashed inside to find Uncle Fido, who was snoozing peacefully by the fireplace. They nudged him gently until he woke up, his eyes twinkling with warmth as he listened to their eager barks about the special day ahead.
"National Hug Your Dog Day, eh?" Uncle Fido mused, scratching his furry chin. "Well, I suppose we ought to celebrate properly, then."
And so, the trio set out on their new mission to spread love and hugs. First, they hugged each other tightly, their tails wagging furiously with joy. Then they turned their attention to Uncle Fido, showering him with affectionate cuddles that made his heart swell with happiness.
But Tip and Tap weren't content with just hugging each other and Uncle Fido. They wanted to share their love with everyone they met. So, they trotted down the street, wagging their tails and offering hugs to every dog they encountered. Some were shy at first, but soon they couldn't resist the warmth and joy radiating from Tip and Tap.
Encouraged by their success, Tip and Tap decided to take things a step further. They bravely approached a group of cats lounging in the sun, their whiskers twitching with curiosity.
"Excuse us, would you like a hug?" Tip asked, his eyes shining with hope.
The cats exchanged skeptical meows, but then one by one, they tentatively accepted the offer. And to everyone's surprise, the cats found themselves purring with contentment as Tip and Tap enveloped them in warm, furry embraces.
As the day wore on, Tip, Tap, and Uncle Fido traveled from neighborhood to neighborhood, spreading love and hugs wherever they went. And something magical began to happen. Dogs, cats, and people smiled more freely, tensions melted away, and even the grumpiest of faces softened at the sight of the joyful trio.
By the time the sun began to set, Tip, Tap, and Uncle Fido returned home, their hearts overflowing with happiness. As they curled up together by the fireplace, they couldn't help but reflect on the incredible day they'd shared.
"Who knew that something as simple as a hug could make such a difference?" Uncle Fido mused, his eyes twinkling with wisdom.
Tip and Tap nodded in agreement, their tails wagging lazily as they drifted off to sleep, dreaming of a world where love and hugs were the cure for all of life's problems. And in that moment, nestled together in their cozy little house, they knew that anything was possible with a little bit of love and a whole lot of hugs.
Binaural Space, April 10, 2024, National Hug Your Dog Day
Ambient traditionalists say to Binaural Space what the Emperor said to Mozart: “Too many notes.” In both cases, the rest of the world tends to disagree.
Great album that doesn't take itself too seriously but stands the test of multiple listens anyway (just yesterday I enjoyed a 2-hour drive accompanied only with the 4 pre-released tracks tremendously) Binaural Space
Fun, multi-genre album full with motley ideas in the best sense of the word, with that typical melodic and harmonic magic only ACY can provide. Currently my fav ACY album – and that's something! Binaural Space
Powerful and yet intimate, deep and yet full of light, haunting but optimistic. This EP has a special atmosphere thanks to the brilliantly selected timbres and sounds... and the vocal. Great name, too Binaural Space

filled to bursting with horror and bugs, but also extremely addictive synth and guitar work. instances of industrial synth and gothic rock, with a terrible feeling of dread permeating it that I adore. so much to love in such a small package. very solid, sinister release. palehorse666

Once again, Alpha pushes the boundaries between synthwave and ambient soundscapes, creating a world full of silky smooth beauty!
Relaxing, positive and undeniably cool, if this is your introduction to ACY then dive head first into a stress free paradise and immerse yourself in an artist who's at the very top of his game. stuthedj
