FoxPuppy I promise, I was going to post this review for Tipentap Blame Day, but the wife distracted me! It's her fault!
At any rate, Tipentap are up to their usual frolicking shenanigans, but do I detect some underlying mischief in higher quantities in this album? Perhaps. But it's still that solid Uncle Fido goodness that fans have come to love. Get this one, then get the rest!

Quittiie Hellyes! This is my first contact with the Tipentap-Cosmos and I'm enraptured. I love these playful melodies and soundscapes. The perfect Soundtrack to relax after an annoying and hard working day. Favorite track: They Turn Against Each Other.

Cat Temper You only have yourself to blame if you don't give in to the warm and wonderful world of Tipentap! Another great release of deceptively simple tunes filled with delicious textures and a playful curiosity.

about

Happy National Blame Someone Else Day!

When uncle Fido told Tip and Tap that every year on the first Friday the 13th – which, for 2022, is May 13 – it is allowed, just for the day, to blame someone else for our faults, the puppies were thrilled.

"But who should we blame?" they asked the wise Fido.

"It's up to you," their experienced uncle answered. "I usually blame... You don't have to know. Try blaming other animals for instance. Or people. Or things. Or play a board game to reveal who to blame. Do not blame yourselves today, though. It will be fun, you'll see."

So, forgetting the principles instilled into them by the very uncle Fido, they began blaming others right in the morning. When they did something wrong – even on purpose – they would blame dogs, cats, cows, horses, flies, frogs and squirrels, they even blamed trees, their alarm clock, a toothpaste, an axe and a box of matches.

They continued blaming anyone and anything and everyone and everything during the day and when they finally started blaming each other, they realized enough was enough and they called it a day.

In the evening they watched a movie about a hero blamed for something he didn't do and then they went to sleep while listening to a song uncle Fido played for them. It was called Blame It On My Youth and it was very nice.

"It sounds old," they thought, though. "Is it as old as you are, uncle?" they asked.

"Damn National Blame Someone Else Day," growled uncle Fido and switched off the light, amusedly realizing he'd just blamed the Blame Day itself for his advanced age.

The whole day had been such fun and relief that Tip and Tap agreed on blaming someone else again next year while singing "We can be blamers, just for one day."

Binaural Space

Ambient traditionalists say to Binaural Space what the Emperor said to Mozart: “Too many notes.” In both cases, the rest of the world tends to disagree.
