Lord Dust This album has that 70s scifi feel that first brought me to Binaural Space. Excellent tunes for that long cryosleep home.

Ricky Ellison I only discovered Binaural Space a couple of months ago. I hate it because I feel like I've missed out but at the same it's amazing because I have all this new music to discover.

Like everything I've heard so far 'Deep Sleep Leap' takes you on a journey and somehow captures those moments where you are between sleep and awake. Those moments where everything feels bigger than it is and that's what this album is, it's only 9 tracks but every single one of them is its own little pocket dream.

FoxPuppy This album was created to help the listener relax and sleep. It's Binaural Space, so it's not boring, but it does focus my mind in such a way that I find myself relaxing and...honestly, I've never made it through the album without falling asleep. It's like magic.

SRL Anything that helps me sleep is a good thing.
Anything that helps Ukraine is a good thing.
This does both!
Do yourself and the world a favor - buy this! Favorite track: Černé Oči Jděte Spát (Czech folk lullaby).

SkyYamaha This album is sonic equivalent of a weighted blanket, it is everything you need to get your eyelids heavy , and your body relaxed. But it is much more than a sleep album. There is an emotional depth here that rises in gorgeous and developing melodies waves and disappear in perfect peace. In addition, I very much would like to book my stay at this orbital sleep hotel in advance , as long as this release from Binaural Space can come with. It also can work well for calming anxiety. Favorite track: Epic Dream.
Cat Temper

Cat Temper As a longtime insomniac I always appreciate albums designed to help the mind drift and find peace. Deep Sleep Leap is full of fantastic spacey synth sounds and slowly built arrangements. Every track has wonderful hooks and melodies to latch onto as you're taken for a gentle mental trip.

about

I've had a sleep disorder for years. I've tried all kinds of techniques, medications / meditations and approaches to cure it – with various degrees of success. But since tinnitus developed in my ear last year I've found out by masking it that I need certain sounds and music in order to fall and stay asleep.

After some experimenting with other artists' music I made myself my own sleeping playlist and now I'm bringing its edited version to you as an album.

I planned the pre-release and release dates of Deep Sleep Leap a long time ago: Pre-release on February 28, the National Public Sleeping Day, and release on March 18, the World Sleep Day.

But then February 24 came and the world – at least its big part mere 6-hour drive from where I'm writing these words – changed: Russia invaded Ukraine. My sleeping problems suddenly felt laughable in comparison with what all people in Ukraine are going through.

But this weekend, when preparing a fundraising compilation to support Ukraine all day long, unable to sleep at night, imagining the horrors of war, it dawned on me:

I'm not alone and there are many people in the luckier parts of the world who are not indifferent to the situation and they probably don't sleep well either.

Plus the long ago chosen title of the album (first chosen as a wordplay with the Czech word "líp", pronounced as [leap] and meaning "in a better way") makes even more sense now: the desire to sleep deeply and while peacefully dreaming, making a huge leap – somewhere else, perhaps not only geographically, but in time, too...

So I've decided to release the tracks that have been, after long experimenting, helping me to sleep. I have to polish some of them or perhaps even re-record them for you so I'll need the 2.5 weeks between the pre-release and release dates, but they're basically ready. So here you have the first couple of them today, on the National Public Sleeping Day – you'll get the rest of the album on March 18, on the World Sleep Day.

And if you don't have trouble sleeping – good for you! – you can enjoy the music as usual, to relax, daydream, meditate, entertain yourself and enjoy those kind of feelings only music can bring you.

Thank you very much for your support, keep safe and sleep well.

Binaural Space

Ambient traditionalists say to Binaural Space what the Emperor said to Mozart: “Too many notes.” In both cases, the rest of the world tends to disagree.
